Maxxis Minion DHR II 27.5x2.6 3C MaxxTerra EXO+ TR Tire

Maxxis Minion DHR II 27.5x2.6 3C MaxxTerra EXO+ TR Tire

The Maxxis Minion DHR II Tire, featuring side knobs inspired by the Minion DHF but with increased width for added support, delivers exceptional cornering performance. The center tread incorporates ramped leading edges for enhanced acceleration and sipes for a smooth transition during lean, while paddle-like knobs provide superior control during hard braking. Equipped with 3C MaxxTerra compound for a balanced blend of traction, durability, and rolling resistance, the tire also benefits from EXO+ construction for enhanced puncture protection and sidewall durability. Tubeless ready, it offers lower air pressure options for improved traction, reduced rolling resistance, and minimized flat risks.

  • 3C MAXXTERRA: An intermediate compound configuration used in select mountain tires. 3C MaxxTerra is softer and offers more traction than 3C MaxxSpeed, yet provides better treadwear and less rolling resistance than MaxxGrip.
  • EXO+: Maxxis' EXO+ construction combines two of our best puncture protection materials: SilkShield and EXO. The SilkShield layer runs from bead-to-bead with a layer of EXO along the sidewalls. Combined, these two materials create EXO+ which improves tread puncture protection by 27%; sidewall durability by 51%; and resistance to pinch flats by 28%.
  • TUBELESS READY: Tubeless ready tires provide the rider with many benefits: the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance when compared to a tube-type tire; and less chance of flatting because there is no tube. Tubeless ready tires are denoted by the letters ā€œTRā€ on the sidewall.
Tubeless ready tires must be mounted to tubeless compatible rims and require the use of a liquid sealant to maintain pressure. Liquid sealants have the added benefit of sealing small punctures. Be sure to check your sealant regularly and refresh as needed as it will dry out over time.
Liquid sealants should only be used in the following types of tires: tubeless road, tubular, and tubeless ready. The use of liquid sealants in any other Maxxis tire will void the warranty.
